My name is Hope Blake.
I was born November 28, 1995. I’m a junior at Two Rivers High School. I transferred from Roy High School this year. I used to like skipping classes there. That’s why I’m here now. But I’m back in school to make up all of my missing credits and hopefully to meet some amazing people in my classes while I’m at it.
I don’t seem to be very social when you first get to know me, but truly I love meeting people! I love music too. I don’t think I would be here without music. I hope to try out for American Idol when I get the chance.
I am an only child, and I live with my mom and step-dad, the two most important people in my life! I am never home on weekends, ha ha. I adopted my best friend’s family. So I stay there Friday-Sundays. If I am home on weekends, my parents and I go out on adventures. We drive until we don’t want to drive anymore and explore around. I love spending time with them.
My name is Chance Colton Miller.
I’m 17, and my birthday is November 21st. I live with my Mom and Dad; I have a 33 year old brother and a 27 year old sister. I broke my left leg in first grade; it was a spiral fracture. I was in a cast for two months. I’m a big car guy, and I hope to own a classic Corvette in the future.
My brother is in prison and gets out in January, and my sister is working on getting her master’s degree. I came to Two Rivers High School to make up credits and to graduate by the end of the year. I also like to hang out with friends and play video games for fun.
I have a ’97 Chrysler Sebring LX (a far cry from a corvette, but it gets me from point A to point B). I don’t drive because I’m too broke to buy new tires right now L. I’m also a firearms enthusiast. I own a Ruger 10/22, a .357 revolver, and a Winchester .270. I plan on buying a Nugget for my 18th birthday as well.
I’m a generally nice person, just not very outgoing in general. I’m shy, and I don’t like opening up to others. I just try to keep quit and stay out of trouble. I’m also certified in Gas Metal Arc Welding.
My name is Chelsea Bowman.
I am 17, and I am a senior at Two Rivers High School. I love to dance, and I love to play softball. I live with my mom and step-dad, and I have four brothers. I love chicken nuggets. I love penguins too. They are one of my favorite animals of all time. I also love hippos. They are so cute!
I am terrified of snakes. They are one of the most nasty animals of all time. I wish they could all die and never come back! I’m also scared of sharks. I think they also need to be gone forever! I love to watch Shark Week, but I hate sharks, ha ha. I used to go to Freemont High School, and I really didn’t like it there. I love being here at Two Rivers. But I’m also glad that I get to graduate this year.
My favorite color is purple. I love to hang out with my friends and to go to the movies.
My name is Eric Saiz.
I am a senior at Two Rivers High School. I was born May 30th, 1995. I am seventeen years old. I used to go to Fremont High School, but I started coming to Two Rivers last year in the middle of the school year. I came here because it is easier here for me to graduate.
Some of the things that I like to do is hang out with my friends and party, listen to music, or just kick back. I like to do anything that is fun. I would say that I am a very outgoing person and very easy to get along with. In my family there is only four of us. I have one little sister. She is 12. I like spending time with her. We always have a good time.
I have a Honda Civic hatchback. It’s a V-tec. It’s a pretty fast car. It just needs to be painted. As soon as I do that, it will be a perfect car. But I’ll probably end up getting a new car in the end. I have a tattoo on my right arm of a rosary. I used to work on a dairy farm. I had to quit because I need to take a 5th period class.
Some of my favorite foods are Chinese, Italian, and Mexican. My favorite type of soda is Dr. Pepper. I have been drinking Dr. Pepper since my sophomore year, and my friend chad is the one who really got me into drinking it.
I like to go snowboarding. I usually go up to Wolf Mountain when I board. I wouldn’t say I’m the best, but I have gotten better at it. It would be pretty cool to become pro, but to become pro, you have to be way good. When I graduate I hope to go into mechanics. I would like to be a mechanic on cars and fix them up, paint them, and make them faster. I like working on cars a lot. I want to learn more about them and learn how to do a lot more things with them and learn how to fix anything that comes up with them. I would like to know how to take an engine apart and put it back together again and have it still working. I am a baseball fan. My favorite baseball team would have to be the New York Yankees, hands down. I have been a Yankees fan ever since I was a little kid.
My name is Ashley Scott.
I am 16 years old, and I am currently seven months pregnant. I am having a baby girl. My due date is November 14th, and I am very excited. I can’t wait. I am going to name her Raylinn Marie Scott. I am a friendly and outgoing person. I love to hang out with friends and mess around. I am not really a shy person. I live with my dad and nephew in the Washington Terrace. I love animals. They’re so cute.
I came to Two Rivers High School because I thought it would be a good fresh start for me and my baby. I also came here because I can take my baby to school, and she could make friends while I go to school and graduate. Also, I could meet other mothers and learn new techniques about parenting.
I have four sisters and one brother, and they’re all older than me. So, I’m the youngest in the family. My oldest sister is Jamie. I don’t really know her. I have only talked to her on the phone. My second oldest sister is Kaycee. She is 24 and is the best sister I could ask for. The third oldest is Kyla. She is married and lives with her husband. Then there’s Kerrie. She just got married and is happy with her husband. My brother Colby lives with his mom. He works on buses. Then I also have five step-sisters, and they are amazing. The oldest is Makensie. She is married and has a two year old girl. She is really cute. The second oldest is Erin. She is going to school to be a medical person. The third oldest is Shelby. Her husband is on a mission. He will be back soon, though. The fourth oldest is Annie. She is very smart and is really pretty. Then the youngest is Vanessa. She is 12 and is very smart. She knows more than I do. I love them all. They’re so amazing and make my life better and easier, and they’re very supportive. I have a great family. Then there is my dad. He is 45, and he loves me very much and is cool.
My name is Colton Robertson; I have lived in Utah my whole life. I have never lived out of state.
I have an older brother that is going to be 23 in Sept. I live with my mom and step-dad because my mom and dad got divorced when I was 12. I have moved five or six times that I can remember. But mostly I have lived up around the Box Elder area. This is the first time that I have lived in Ogden. I’m pretty sure that I lived in Ogden when I was just a little guy, but I was too little to remember.
My passions, what I live for, are hunting and fishing and just being in the outdoors. The things that I enjoy hunting the most would probably have to be waterfowl (ducks and geese). But I also love to pheasant hunt. There is nothing like chasing big, bull elk and monster muleys around the mountains. Waking up early, drinking coffee, and scouting. There isn’t anything better that I would rather do in my life. That is pretty much who I am!
I’m very blithe when there’s an event that is fun and dramatic. I get bored when that event isn’t all that exciting to do. My favorite color is probably green because in the night, you can detect that color easily. I like to ride my bike around places to get healthy. I also like to go mountain biking. Mountain biking provides many obstacles that you have to overcome, such as steep hills and boulders. For example, lasers in a club can be detected much easier than a darker color, such as black. I love DJing, and I also would like to produce my own music and release my own albums. This is my goal, to get my producing materials and to become one of the top 100 on DJMAG!
I like to go to clubs and have fun there with some friends of mine, this includes the Carnival, so called Electric Daisy Carnival. The bottom pictures provide images of the Carnival. I like meeting others and getting to know all about them. Sometimes I’m crazy during these events, but I don’t get into trouble. I try to stay out of any sort of trouble and to just have fun. I would be pleased if I preformed at EDC because I would have lots of fun playing my most favorite songs to my fans. I like to exercise to build certain skills, such as agility, strength, endurance, and other skills. Being a DJ provides some of these skills since DJs have to perform up to five hours a day or more. These are the reasons why I would like to accomplish this goal, since it provides many fun activities to do. As you can tell, I order a lot of music. My favorite genre of music is probably Trance. The reason why is because Trance was introduced to me by my brother, and it’s the first Rave genre that I liked. House is my next. I love House music. It make me go crazy since it provides a spectacular or surprising beat that makes you want to jump around all day. What genre will I be if I become a producer? I decided to become a House/Trance/ and Progressive DJ, just like Arty, who is a famous producer as well.
My name is Brandon Briseno.
I am 17 years old, and I live in the Washington Terrace. Some of the things I like to do are play basketball and football. I also like to work on my bike and swim at the river. I like all different kinds of music, but I mostly listen to Tech N9ne. I enjoy going to the movies and playing arcade games. My favorite foods are Mexican and Chinese.
There are seven people in my family: my mom and dad and five siblings. I have an older brother who is in college, a sister who is two years younger than I am, and two little brothers. I also have two Siamese cats as well as a gold fish.
My name is Becka Schrock.
I was born August 12th, 1994, in Fairbanks, Alaska. I and my family moved to Utah in 1999. We have lived in Roy for 13 years now and in the same house. My parents met and grew up in Kansas. I don’t have any distant family members that live in Utah. All of my family besides my mom, dad, and brother live in Kansas. I have one brother, and his name is Cody.
I have two dogs named Lili and Maggie. Lili is a blonde hair Cocker Spaniel, and Maggie is a tri-color Australian Shepard. They are awesome dogs! They love to go hiking and camping with my family. Maggie loves to play frisbee and play with her ball. Lili has an attitude problem and loves to eat. Lili is one years old, and Maggie will be five in December.
Something that I like to do for fun is hang out with friends, go hiking, camping, play with my dogs, and play card games. The one thing that I’ve always wanted to do was travel the world. I have some ideas on what I want to do as a career; I either want to be a environmentalist or a geologist. Why I have chosen those two fields for my career is because I really enjoy the outdoors.
Another thing that I like to do is cook. I have learned a lot about cooking through my parents and by helping out in the kitchen. My hobby is photography, though. My favorite thing to take pictures of is nature and other things that are out of the ordinary. My favorite type of music is classic rock and reggae. Some of my favorite bands are Trible Seeds, Soja, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones, and Slightly Stupid.
I go to Two Rivers High School now. However, I have gone to two other high schools before I decided to go to Two Rivers. I have been at Davinci Academy and Roy High School. My plan for when I get out of high school is to go to the ATC so that I can get a better paying job. Once I get a better paying job I’ll be able to move out of my parents’ house. I plan to go to a real college once I have my own place and to become financially stable.
The name is Brittany Mannix.
I’m 15 years young, and I’m a sophomore at Two Rivers High School, but only until I get my attendance back up so I can go back to Weber High School.
I live for dance; it’s my life. I experiment with all types of dance. I’m huge into bending, the art of body shaping. To get you more familiar with that, a simple backbend is considered bending. I used to be in Gymnastics and Tumbling, but I found dance more exciting and an adrenaline rush.
Enough about dance, although I could go on forever. Another thing that gets you more familiar with me is that I love my studies. School is a huge part of my life and hopefully always will continue to be. I have huge goals to graduate early, hopefully by the time I’m 16, and from there save up money to move to Santa Barbara or San Francisco, California, to attend college. I’m not entirely set on the college I’d like to go to, but I have a few in mind.
I find myself to be very bubbly and outgoing. I’m also very shy, though. The shy part is mostly because some people can be very intimidating. Those kind of people are scary for me. People often define me as trustworthy or as someone they can always fall back on or come to for advice or even just for a good hug. I love making others smile more so than I care to smile myself. A smile means so much to me. Hopefully it means just as much to the person I attempt to give it to.
I love, love, love music, EVERY SINGLE GENRE. It’s an escape. It tells a story. Raving is a huge part of my life. I love the EDM scene, the experience–the music. It’s about letting go of everything. It’s an amazing, indescribable feeling. All the elements of the rave put together makes for a mind blowing trance experience.
I also love designing clothing. One day I hope to be a designer, but for now I’m keeping my goals and dreams simple. By being able to make everything your own, by adding your own personal flair, it is just an amazing feeling. My biggest inspirations are Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Christian Louboutin, as well as Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, and many more.
My name is Heidi Tingle.
I was born July 27th, 1994. It was a wonderful day for my parents and my older brother and sister. My older brother is 29 and lives in Texas with his wife and three kids. My older sister is 28 and lives in Texas as well with her husband and her step-daughter.
I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and lived there until I was two years old. Then I moved to Grand Prairie, Texas, until I was 11; then I moved here to Utah. When I turned 11, we bought a house, and I have lived here in Utah ever since.
I have a wonderful boyfriend that I have been with for two years in January. His name is Dustin. We met because of two mutual friends.
My old high school was Roy High School. I sluffed a lot of my classes there, and I still needed a lot of credits if I was going to graduate. So, I came here to Two Rivers High School. This will give me more of a chance to graduate high school with a diploma.
Things I like to do are hanging out with friends and my boyfriend, going on cute dates with my boyfriend, wrestling, singing (even if it sounds horrible), and sleeping!
I have two dogs: one dog is my dad’s house and is called Lady. She’s a Border Collie. Unfortunately she was also born deaf. But she is very smart. My other dog is called Jordan. He’s a Cocker Spaniel.
My name is Brittney Loftus.
I am a senior this year. I hope to go back to Roy High School at the end of this semester. After high school I plan on going to college and see where I want to be and work!
I like to be outdoors and go on crazy adventures! I’m quiet and shy at first, but I always like to get to know new people. I have a small family: me, my mom, my dad and brother. I’ve lived in Utah my whole life, but I plan on moving to new places! I like to go out on our boat. Sometimes it scares me, though, when huge waves start rocking the boat.
When I was in 8th grade, we were on our way to Flaming Gorge, and we got in a roll-over accident. No one in my family got hurt, luckily, but our boat and trailer got pretty much destroyed. Somehow we were lucky enough that when we were pulling them before we got in the accident, the camper and the boat came unattached, and they rolled over from the truck, and so we were ok! That was the only wreck I’ve ever been in my whole life (knock on wood). But that is why I’m scared of rocking or swaying things.
So I like to water ski, swim, cliff dive, camp, and go fish with my dad. Sometimes his fish are too big for me to hold! I like to hike and pretty much anything outdoors! I have two little cousins that I absolutely adore. I love my family more than anything! And I always like to have a good time!
My name is Gabe Orton.
I think that I’m a very interesting person. I’m very social, and I like meeting new people. My favorite foods are pizza, burgers, tacos, burritos, Cheetos, ice cream and STEAK! I’m madly in love with my girlfriend, Nicole Hancock. She is the love of my life. She is 17 and has graduated and lives in Layton. My family is awesome, most of whom are black belts in all sorts of martial arts and are very supportive of me.
My family down here in Utah is very small. I only have my dad, brother, aunt, cousins, uncle, and grandma and grampa. The rest of my family live in Washington state. That’s where I was born, in Seattle, and I lived there for 10 years before moving to Utah. It’s ok here. I love the mountains.
My father is Brandon Orton. He runs his painting company, Rembrandt Painting, here. We also work at the Ogden dinosaur park repainting all of the dinos there. My brother is Gage Orton. He gos to Bonneville and is in 12th grade, and he just plays video games all day when he’s at home. My dog’s name is Rommel. He is a pure bread German shepherd. He has a bloodline to Germany; he weighs 120 pounds and is very big, of course. He recently cut his paw badly, but he will be ok.
My name is Cheyenne Edwards. My closest friends and family call me Cheye, and no, I’m not very shy. My birthday is October 27th, 1996. Therefore, I am sixteen and a sophomore at Two Rivers High School. Ogden is my hometown, born and raised here. I live in a house full of people. I have four sisters (me being the oldest girl) and two brothers (one being older than I am). I have long, dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Green is also my favorite color. I love food! I have no religious beliefs, but I like ideas from different ones. I’m open minded and love hearing new perspectives. I’m really loving and try my hardest every day to better myself.
Everyday I drive around a lot. Yes, I love cars, but what I love more is to just go, without any destination in mind. So we’re spending a lot of gas these days. I hangout with a large variety of people every day. I don’t look at them as people; they’re my other family. I love the outdoors, anything from surfing, to hiking, to swimming. I love it all. I have more of an appreciation for nature than anything else. The only thing I don’t enjoy is the cold. I love the beauty of snow, though.
I’m Skyler, well known as Skye, though. I am 17 and live in the Washington Terrace with my mother and sister. I am confident, and I treat others how I would want to be treated. My life is great; I have a great boyfriend, Cameron, that I have been with for one year and eight months now. I am currently attending the ATC to get my CAN, and I work at Michael’s craft store in Riverdale.
I love math. I am a huge nerd. I may not look like one, but you’d be surprised. My ears were once stretched to two inches. I have a tattoo of Ariel from The Little Mermaid on my left thigh. I sing, even though I suck. I love dancing, even though I have never taken a dance class in my life. I am pretty decent at it, though. I also love a HUGE variety of music.
I find Two Rivers High School to be the best school in Utah. Many might disagree with me, but I definitely think that this school has done a lot for me. Respect me, and I’ll respect you, and we will have no problem.
My name is Zach Wiltfang.
I’m 17, and I like to skateboard and longboard. This is my second year at Two Rivers High School, and I think that this is the best school ever. Out of all the schools that I’ve ever been to, none have been like this one is. The teachers here actually want you to graduate and to not just think of it as another job.
I have a German Shepherd named Zoë, and I get to come home to her every day with her trying to bite my arms when I walk through the door. My grandpa was in World War Two and lived to tell me stories that I barely remember because I was too young then, but I can remember him talking about them “damn Nazis.”
My name is Francisco Romero.
I was born in December, and so far I’ve been living for 16 years. I am the third oldest in my family. I have two sisters and one younger brother, and I don’t quite get along with my father and mother for many reasons. I know a lot about how I am supposed to come from my parents and represent my family, but I am very different from them because I don’t believe in what they do.
I’m not an average or the typical type of person one could find out there in the world. I like doing my own thing, no matter what others may think. I’ve always lived thinking about never giving up on anything. So I don’t really quit many things at all.
I am Mexican and very proud to be who I am. I’m not embarrassed of who I am. I am usually hyper, but that changes if anyone gets on my bad side. I know I am not the strongest person out there, but I won’t back down if someone comes and tries to fight me. I don’t look for fights, but hey, they happen.
I always try to be there for my friends and anyone else who needs my help. I will keep trying and whatever I decide to do and not stop until the job is done, but that doesn’t mean people can tell me what to do or that I’ll listen to them because I may have a different idea of what is right and wrong. If I tell myself to do something for someone else, I’ll especially do my best at it because it no longer just affects me but that person as well, and that means a lot to me. I have true friends and people that I really care about. They come first, not me. Also, I’m quite far from greedy or selfish, but I do know when I have to start thinking serious and no longer spending money on stupid things.
Currently I am really into the song “If I Could” by tech n9ne. It’s something that I can relate to and truly understand. I have different tastes in music than most people I know. I’m not much of a fan of Dub Step or Skrillex, but I can stand it.
My name is Spencer Robinson.
I’m eighteen years old; I was born in Ogden, UT. When I was five, I moved to Olive Branch, MS, and that’s where I lived for ten years before moving here. I have many different qualities and hobbies. I like to play chess, football, and I also like to have airsoft wars. I play videogames, watch movies and TV, and I like to read. When I’m older, I want to get into politics, which I think is great because I have a demanding and self-confident as well as polite personality.
I like to play chess because I like to use strategies to defeat my opponent. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I win. My favorite football team is the “Seattle Seahawks.” I’m always cheering them on, and when they don’t go to the Super Bowl, I sit there and complain. I like playing football and other sports with friends on the weekends. I also love guns and being in military scenarios. So that’s when I have airsoft wars with friends. It’s really fun, and I encourage anyone to try it out. Videogames, unfortunately, take up most of my life. I guess I play them for some kind of nourishment from lack of attention, but that’s beside the point. They are really fun. I love watching movies and watching TV as well. I like comical movies and watching my favorite comedian on TV, Zach Galifinakis.
In the years to come, I would like to find myself getting into politics and helping out nations around the world. I seek a “pursuit of happiness” platform and to order everyone around me to be happy. The only way to make people happy is by having a good life yourself, such as a good job, a great income, and less money for out-of-pocket fees. So with my nice, friendly, polite, and stern personality, I will one day express what is wrong with our country and explain ways to fix these problems while I am running for president of the United States.
My name is Kodie Gregory.
I am currently 16, and I attend Two Rivers High School. I love to draw, and singing is my passion. I love animals, and my dog is my world. I am a lesbian, and I will stand loud and proud until the day that I die.
Biology is my strongest subject, and Mr. Henry is my favorite teacher. I hate scary movies, and I love cartoons. I can’t stand country music. Rap is more my style. I like to tag things and be creative in my own way. I am currently engaged, and even though I am young, it is the right thing for me. I don’t let people get me down; after all, I am my own person, and I will do my own thing. Life is too short to follow all the rules, and I live by that saying daily.
I work at Frightmares, and I am currently working on getting my CNA. I have always wanted to go into the medical field. Helping people is something I enjoy doing. My favorite color is red, and my favorite food is definitely fried pickles.
I have two half-sisters, three step-sisters and two step-brothers, but I love all of my families equally. I am soon to be aunt, and I cannot wait for the day when I get to hold my new niece or nephew. This is just a little bit about me, and I hope you enjoyed reading about me.
My name is Angel Zamora.
I am a student at Two Rivers High School. I have one brother and one sister. My sister has a son named Sam. My sister’s name is Rocio, and my brother’s name is Cesar. My mom’s name is Clemintina, and my dad’s name is Angel.
I like to play soccer, football and hockey. My favorite teams are America and Raiders. My favorite player is McFadden. My favorite movies are The Godfather, Soul Plane, and The Punisher. My favorite superhero is Batman.
When I grow up I have dreams of owning a 1970 Chevy Chevelle and a 1967 Pontiac GTO and rebuilding a 1942 ford truck. I would like to own my own business so I could buy these things. My favorite music is rap and oldies, some rock, as long as it’s mellow and not super loud or screamo. Some of my favorite artists are SPM and Lil’Rob.
I was born in Layton and raised in the area until I was eight. Then my family moved to Oregon. I lived there for eight years, and now I’m 16 and back in Utah. There’s not much to say about my childhood. I live day to day and play guitar bass and cello. I play any sport or any game anyone wants to play.
I work for my Uncle as a mechanic in our family owned and operated business. I enjoy my job a lot as it kills time for me and fills my pocket a little bit, and most days there is not much to do. So I work on my family’s car, a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. I keep it tuned to its max and upgrade things on it. I just recently got my driver’s permit, and now I’m waiting on getting a car. I’d love to get a 1967 or 1968 Chevy Impala, or maybe a Toyota T100 of any year. Either one is great. I’d like them both or something similar.
I enjoy being single, but I also like the right group’s company. I play “hack” or hackysack, and I’ll generally try skate boarding or BMXing stunts, although not always with the best results. I’ve only broken one bone in my left pinky playing basketball, but I get hurt a lot. I’m open to trying anything, and I’ll usually do fairly well at things if I try a little bit.
I watch and play a lot of sports. I watch football, hockey, rugby, lacrosse, and soccer occasionally. My favorite sports to are football, rugby, and lacrosse. I’d play hockey if I could ice skate better. Outside of the more standard sports, I like to play made up games, the kind of games you might play when babysitting or when you’re really bored.
My favorite color is blue, and my favorite food is spaghetti. I like to cook, and I love food. There is not much stuff I don’t like. I like almost everything. I try, and I like to learn a lot about anything especially strange or uncommon skills.
My name is Brandon La Mar Smith.
I was born in Yakama, Washington, and I lived there until I was about two. After that my family moved to Boise, Idaho, and I stayed in that area until I was about four years old. Since then I have been living here in Utah. I lived on Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) until I was nine when we moved out to my parents’ dream house that they built in West Haven.
I haven’t had the most successful school life in the past. Hell, I haven’t even had much luck in general. I have a son, and he is two years old. I love him to death and would do anything for my son, even though he was adopted by another family because of how young we were. I still would push myself to the ends of the earth for him.
I have a lot of fun stuff that I enjoy doing in my free time, such as skating, swimming, weightlifting, football, and hanging out with my friends. I really enjoy just sitting down, relaxing with some friends, and watching a movie or to just joke and have fun. I am a huge fan of the outdoors. I can hike for days and never grow bored of the natural beauty around me.
I am proud to say I am a very spiritual person. I have been on the path of enlightenment for years now, and I have to say, I am not anywhere near completing my journey. Someday I will be. I do not have a religion. I believe in the religion of “I do not know.” This is because I don’t know, and no one does, but I do believe that if I treat everyone and everything around me right, then everything must turn out right in the end.
All in all I’m a very happy and enthusiastic person. I have high hopes for the future and for what it holds for me.
My name is Rand Williams.
I am 17 years old and was born on November 9, 1994. I’m a senior at Two Rivers High School this year. I like to try to stay active and have fun. My two favorite things to do are skateboard in the summer and snowboard in the winter. I ride for a local skate shop in South Ogden called Revival Free Ride. I also work at Wolf Mountain Ski Resort on the park crew.
Once I am done with high school and with a composites course at the Applied Technology College, I am going to move to Breckenridge, Colorado, to work for Vail Resorts as a house keeper. I hope to get a job making snowboards and skateboards at Nightmare Snowboard Company which is in Dillon, Colorado.
I have lived in Utah for my entire life. So I am really excited to finally get out of here and do something new somewhere else. It’s not that I don’t like Utah, because there is a lot of fun stuff to do out here, I just want to be able to snowboard all year round and live in a cool place with the homies.
I’m Victoria Henderson, but I go by Tori.
I’m blind in my right eye because of an accident when I was four, but it’s not too noticeable, unless you really look at it, and I’m not really affected by it. I just don’t have much balance. So I bump into things a lot .
I’m not afraid to be loud, and I will talk to just about anyone. I love music. I was born here in Ogden, but I have also lived in Virginia for five years and then came back to Utah.
I love to longboard. I also draw a lot. I love drawing and creating things that you don’t see every day. I’m a senior. My 17th birthday was on the first day of school, which sucked, but I had fun, and if you want to know anything else about me, just ask.
My name is Shelbi Olene Anderson.
I am 18 years old. My birthday is June 20th. I was born in Florida, and I moved to Utah when I was 12 years old. I have blue eyes and natural, dirty blonde hair. I have one older sister named Ashley and a younger brother named Forrest. I live with my mom, sister, brother and one of my favorite people in the world, my niece. Her name is Lulu. She is three years old. She is in the picture above. She is so cute and sweet. She is cute and way sassy. But we can’t help but laugh at her and love her. Well, I am really good with little kids. So I would love to be a kindergarten teacher when I am older. I am also pretty good at cooking.
I have nose piercing and a lip piercing. I also have a tattoo on my right wrist. It means strength in Japanese because I have been through quite a lot of problems that I have faced head on in my life. So I got it to remind me of all the issues I have faced, and no matter what life throws at me, I can handle it. I am a strong willed soul. If someone can handle something very difficult or challenging in their life, it would be me. I am a very stubborn person when it comes to giving up on something that is important or that means something to me.
I have an amazing boyfriend named Patrick. He also goes to Two Rivers High School with me. He is the reason why I decided to go to school here. I had lots of health issues last year; so I missed most of last year. He helped me decide to graduate high school instead of just getting my GED. I am very grateful for all the things he does for me and to help me. Anyways I am me. Not pretend or fake. I am pretty goofy and weird sometimes, but that’s me. I am in love with penguins. I can’t help but to love them. They are so adorable. But yes, I am kinda odd and weird, but that’s me.
I’m Zane Norr.
I am 18 years old. I’m a senior this year. I have a 1995 Honda Civic that I love!
When I was eight, I was sleeping in a trailer when it started on fire. I woke up in a hospital bed with third degree burns on my feet and legs; it was the worst pain in the world, and I only have scars on my feet, but it isn’t that noticeable.
I grew up in Bear River City. I was a country boy! Then I moved to Brigham City in 4th grade. After 4th grade ended, I moved to Washington Terrace City. I went to Washington Terrace Elementary. Two years later I moved to Roy. I went to Sandridge Junior High. Mr. Marhcant was our principal, and he’s now the principal of Two Rivers! Cool right?
My favorite colors: green and purple
My favorite food: grilled cheese and tomato soup
My favorite sport: basketball
What did I do this summer? I went camping a lot, and I went bow hunting
I have a big heart for those who show me they deseve it. I’m really random, very talkative, and I tend to think that I’m funny.
I’m from Everett, Washington. I was born December 9, 1994. I have three brothers; I’m the middle child and the only girl, which is awesome because I’m daddy’s little girl.
I am a senior at Two Rivers High School. I’ve lived in Arlee, Montana, which is on a Native American reservation. That was very interesting, learning their culture and how they do things differently. I moved back to Utah last year in the summer.
I’ve had only one job my whole life and that was at Orange Julius at the Newgate mall. This was so sick, meeting new people and learning how to make “dank” drinks. I’m really social–fearless. I’m always up to do new things, and sometimes that’s not so much a good thing, from what my parents tell me.
Hey, I’m Keely Marie Ricketts.
I happen to love it here at Two Rivers. It’s a good school. I was supposed to go to Weber High, but I chose not to.
My daddy passed away five years ago from cancer. I miss him. I live with my mom; it’s just me and her. I have a kitten named Mimi. She’s adorable. I have three brothers and two sisters. But they are all way older than me, and I only have one full blood sibling, and it’s one of my sisters. My other sister died when she was only 27 hours old. I never met her.
I love to dance and sing… even though I suck at singing. I have gauges (size 2) and a Monroe piercing. I love them! I’m not really a girly girl. I love getting dirty. I like basketball.
I love music, all types. I love horror-core, metal, rap, hip hop, dub-step, alternative, rock, hardcore rock, classic rock–pretty much anything and everything. I love to party! I love going out at night; it’s the best time of the day.
Summer is my favorite season. My birthday is on October 10th. I’m a big time video gamer. I love Xbox 360. Want to know more? Come kick it with me!(:
My name is Lakaiya Kathrine Craig.
I was named by my dad who named me after his sister that passed away the year I was born. I am sixteen years old and was born and raised in Utah. My birthday is February 2nd. I was born at Ogden Regional Hospital. I am a really brave, nice, big hearted and giving person. I have three sisters, one older and two younger. I also have two brothers, and they’re both younger than I am. They are all half siblings. I have a niece and a nephew. My mom was a young parent with diabetes and had four kids. My dad was also a young parent, and he has three kids. I am his oldest. I have two aunts and a lot of cousins. I have one grandma and one grandpa, and they are all amazing. My family is a really close family.
I know some of you are probably wondering why this sixteen year old girl doesn’t have any hair. Well, last year I found out that my dad has cancer. He was doing pretty bad and feeling like he was all alone in his fight against cancer and was down about how he didn’t have any hair. So this year I decided to shave all my hair off and donate it to locks-of-love and to show my dad that he is not alone in his fight against cancer after all.
In my life I have been to many different schools in the Davis and Weber area. I used to get good grades when I was little, up until fifth grade. In the fifth grade I started to hang out with the wrong group of people, I guess you could say. I thought that I was too cool for school and didn’t have to go. I started falling way behind. Then seventh and eighth grade came, and I started to get my stuff together somewhat, but then I slipped back into my old habits. Ninth grade came, and I started having troubles with my heart and head, and I missed a lot of school because of it. So all my grades started going down again. Then tenth grade came, and that’s when my parents started having problems. I started helping my parents with my little brother and sister. I started falling behind again and missing a lot of school, and I didn’t get any credits that year. That’s how I ended up here at Two Rivers High School.
My name is ShyAnne Aleicia Mendoza.
I was born on February 14th, 1995. I’m the oldest of three children. I was an only child until I was about five and a half. I guess you can say I was a little spoiled. I come from a very big, Mexican family. We are really close and have family parties often. My family hasn’t always made the best choices in the past, but we’re all working on bettering our futures. I have only been in trouble with the law twice. So I would consider myself a good kid.
Now that you know a little background on me, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a really nice person. I am honest and trustworthy. I NEVER break a pinky promise. I have an amazing sense of humor. Making people laugh is an everyday thing for me. I always put a smile on for others. And according to 90% of the people I talk to, I tend to be a pretty loud person. I think they’re just crazy.
I am a senior now at Two Rivers High School. I’ve been there since the beginning of my sophomore year. It’s the only high school I’ve ever gone to. I guess you can say I got kicked out of Weber High before I even went there. But, I wouldn’t change anything. I’ve made some great friends and met some amazing people. I plan on graduating this May with my class. It has been a goal of mine ever since my uncle told me I couldn’t.
I’m a simple, laid back person. I’m super social and pretty freakin’ hilarious. So, don’t be shy. If there is anything else you would like to know or you just want to get to know me better, I’m always up for making new friends. Unless I don’t like you; then I’ll let you know that you just “suck.” Hah! Just kiddin’. I try to get along with everyone until they do something to lose my respect for them. Other than that, I would love to get to know and be friends with everyone.
My name is Mikeal Hollen.
I’m in the 12th grade. I was born on May 4th, 1994, here in Ogden, Utah. I have lived in Utah my whole life; so this is where I prefer to live. I have a six month old baby boy named Nova Leon Hollen. He was born on February 17th, 2012; that’s the day my life changed in many exciting yet challenging ways. My pets I live with are a four foot, red iguana named Ziggy and a 55 gallon fish tank with flowerhorn and frontosa Cichlids. I also have two dogs, Buddha and Honey.
In my spare time I enjoy playing hacky sack, fishing, painting (or any art form), hiking, meditation, and walking along the river side. My views on this modern world we live in are different than most people’s, of course, but those views are mainly on technology and over population in the world with humans. I believe that humans take up so much space on this planet that there is less and less space for other animals. And with technology, this is things like computers, cell phone and TVs, these items can be used as an extension to the human body, but in this day in age, they’re mainly focused towards entertainment purposes. And that’s why I disagree with the way technology is used today. I was born in this modern world; so I use technology, of course, and yes, there are a few things I can’t get away from either, such as video games and movies, but if I could give my live today to wipe out technology, and it would be gone for good, I would.
Before my journey is over on this planet, I will obtain the knowledge I need to for what’s next, and all my goals will be met. I believe life on earth is one of the first levels of life, and right now our bodies are egg shells for our energy, and when we die, that shell will bust open, and our energy is released, expanding into the universe.
I like to play sports, hunt, work on cars, and a lot of other things. My dad and I restored an old 1966 Chevy C-10 truck. It took about three years to do, but it was fun to do, and it’s fun to drive around and take it to car shows. I like to drive stick over automatic because it’s fun to drive stick, and you have more control over the vehicle.
I like to go deer hunting as well. I usually go every year. We go up to Randolph and hunt in New Canyon. I use a 30.6 rifle, but that’s the only thing I hunt with. I have never gotten into archery hunting. It never interested me that much, but I shoot archery for target practice, just for fun. I don’t do it for hunting though.
My family is really into watching sports and playing sports. My favorite football team is the Miami Dolphins, and my favorite basketball team is the Utah Jazz. My family goes and plays sports every weekend with some friends. We normally will play football or basketball.
My mom knew I was going be a boy before I was even born. At least that’s what she says. I think it’s because she had heartburn all the time while she was pregnant. She says it is a good thing I was so cute because that probably kept me from getting into trouble every time I was naughty.
I was born on February 26, 1995. I have a step-brother named Dustin, a half-sister named Katie and a sister named Danielle. My dad is the only son in his family, and I was his first son. So the Heninger family was excited that I was going to carry on the family name. We lived in Liberty, Utah, when I was born, and I was delivered at St. Benedict’s Hospital. I weighed 7lbs and 12ozs, and I was 20 inches long. I had lots of dark hair. My hair turned blonde really quickly, and I had lots of curls. My mom didn’t want to cut my hair for almost two years.
I loved growing up in Liberty. My mom stayed home to take care of us, and we got to play all the time. I loved being in the garage with my dad, and I loved “fixing” things. My family owned a coin-op Laundromat. So as soon as I was walking, I was “helping” with the business. My dad is a welder/mechanic, and we were always in the garage. As I got older, we would go riding four wheelers, and dirt bikes. I love snowmobiling, even when I was little. My dad did Hillclimbing. So I usually spent my birthdays in the snow on a mountain somewhere.
Over the next few years, my mom had three more kids, and we moved from Liberty to Ogden and then to Hooper. We lived in Hooper for nine years, and then we moved to Layton.
When I was young I fell on my head a couple times. That might explain some things about me. I fell out of a shopping cart, and I fell off of a vacuum pedestal at a car wash. Later in life when I was having some challenges, the doctor said that those falls probably impacted me more than we thought back then. I do have a really hard time learning sometimes, and I can get angry really quickly.
When I was nine, my four year old sister was diagnosed with Leukemia. This changed my family’s life completely. My mom and dad tried to take care of her and be in the hospital with her and run our family business, and the rest of us four kids had to stay with family and friends a lot. That wasn’t fun. We all struggled with school during those two years that she was doing chemotherapy.
I have always had a really hard time doing what other people tell me to do. I got in trouble when I was 14 for spraying graffiti on our neighbor’s fence. I got put on probation, and I kept getting into trouble for the next few years. I’ve made a few mistakes in my life and learned some hard lessons over time.
My family was Mormon for my whole childhood–really Mormon. Then in 2005, when I was 10, my Mom left the church. This changed our family again. My dad was really sad that she had changed this way, and they ended up getting divorced in 2008. I was so happy that we didn’t have to do church stuff anymore, but I was really sad that my parents were separating as well. My parents have stayed civil and tried to do what is best for us kids, but my relationship with my dad has completely dissolved over time.
When my mom remarried, she moved to Arizona with her husband and my brothers and sisters, and I tried to live with my dad. He remarried too, though, and I hate my step-mom. So that didn’t work out. I ended up moving to Arizona to live with my mom, and then they moved to Oregon. So I tried to live with my dad again. He likes to “parent by cop.” So I called my mom and told her that I needed her. My step-dad is awesome, and he said, “Go take care of your kid.” So now I live with my mom and my siblings in our house in Hooper again.
My life has been a crazy ride, but I’m starting to learn that the really important things in life aren’t what I thought they were, and I’m hoping to grow up and be a smart and decent man.
My name is Christian Castanon.
I’m 17. I was born on October 29th, 1994. My hobbies are drawing, reading and writing, also playing video games and watching movies. The career I want to go in is movie directing. I really enjoy movies, and I’ve done stuff at BonnevilleHigh School with cameras and other equipment. Also another reason why is I was raised inside my home never really got to go outside much. So I only got to watch TV and movies. My favorite subject in school is history. I love to hear about the Greeks, the Egyptians and their culture and any type of mythology out there.
Some of the things I like to draw are Anime characters or Manga. It’s the same thing, just one is animated and one is a novel. So it’s basically a book. It’s a great thing to do. Everyone thinks it’s easy to draw when it’s really a lot harder. I’ve always loved to draw, and the anime stuff pushes me to become a better artist.
The reason I am at Two Rivers High School is to make up credits. I’ll go back to Bonneville High School to graduate. I’ll go to college as well. I just don’t know when, if I’ll take a break for a year or just go right away. It depends on if I get accepted to the university.
Books I have read are all the books in the Percy Jackson series and the Kane Chronicles, also the series The Heroes of Olympus. I like to hear music during independent reading time. The type of music I like are rock, Japanese, and classical.
I’m Johnae Cesspooch.
November 23rd is my birthday. I’m from the Uintah & Ouray reservation. So, I’m Native American, Northern Ute to be exact.
I moved to Ogden from West Valley City this year. I got kicked out of Granger High School last year due to my poor attendance. That’s why I’m at Two Rivers High School this year. I also need to get my credits up.
My favorite thing in the world is to be healthy. I love to work out and “try” to eat healthy. I attend Zumba on a regular basis. My interests consist of Hello Kitty, cupcakes, the color pink, Domo, Dr. Pepper, big hair, the Lorax, fake eyelashes, cookies, Yoga, Dre beats, the Internet, Victoria Secret, cheetah print, and Hollister. My favorite color is pink. I freaking love Ashlee McCain and Monica Montez. They’re my two mains. ♡
I love music. My beats headphones are my best friend. ♫ I love Techno, dubstep, R&B, Hip-hop, and oldies are my favorite. My favorite artists are Kendrick Lamar, Too-Short, and Nicki Minaj. If you don’t know them then I suggest you look for them on YouTube. 😉
My Name Is Monica Montez-Salazar.
I like basketball and football. My favorite teams are the L.A. Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys. I enjoy watching them both. I love Jordans and summer. My favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day.
I’m hispanic, and I’m from Utah. I have three sisters and four brothers. I’m not much into reading. If I do read, I like autobiographies, such as the Elie Wiesel biography about the Holocaust, NIGHT, for example. I like to spend time with my family and friends. I like to have a good time, and shopping is always a favorite. My favorite colors are blue and pink. I also love scary movies. One of my first favorite movies that I liked so much and even bought the DVD was Stomp the Yard. My Favorite animal is a monkey, although not any particular kind.
I want to be a cosmetologist for my career. I’ve always had an interest in it. My favorite food cuisines are Mexican and Chinese food. I can eat it every day, and it would never get old for me. I’m scared of high heights, for example planes. I don’t know how to swim, but one day I would like to learn. I love cool, blue Gatorade. Mmm, it’s my favorite. I think I am an outgoing person. I like to have fun and party it up.
I have two nephews: Isaiah, who is eight, and Daniel, who is four. Also I have two nieces: Trinity, who is two, and Serenity, who is still on the way.
My name is Karen, after my grandmother. I am seventeen years old and have been to many different schools, but I’d have to say that Two Rivers High School I happen to like the most. This is mostly because of some of the activities we do here and because of the teachers.
Some other things about me are I have a son that just turned a year old, named Azurre. That’s another reason why I like Two Rivers because I can still bring him here, spend time with him here, and he’s learning here as well. My favorite color is turquoise. I like playing volleyball, and I love spending time with my family.
My son’s dad is named Jordan. We will have been together for three years this month. I have a sister named Shyann. We’ve grown closer and closer over the years. My mom’s name is Tammy. She is crazy but in a good way. She always makes me laugh when I need it. My dad’s name is Ryan. I don’t know my birth father, but Ryan stepped in and took care of me since I was in the third grade. I have two brothers named Timothy and Anthony. Anthony just moved from Texas to Idaho. Timothy was living in Texas as well, but he passed away last December.
I am interested in working with young children and in teaching them. I also have an interest in culinary arts that I hope to develop more knowledge in and start a career in, such as running a restaurant. I do wish to somehow put the two together, working with young children and cooking. So, my plan is to graduate and go to a school that will give me ideas on how to do both as a career.
My name is Alejandra Sanchez.
I am 17 years old, and I’m a senior at Two Rivers High School. I live in North Ogden, UT.
I live with my aunt and uncle and my two little cousins. My mom lives in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. I have an older sister named Isaura; she is 23 years old. She’s married and has two kids. I also have a younger brother named Carlos; he is only 15. He is 6’4″ tall already and is still growing.
My dad isn’t really a part of our lives; my mom and him have been separated for about four years now.
My name is Savanah Lynn Partridge.
My middle name is after my Granny who had a huge hand in raising me; I love being able to share a name with her.
I’m seventeen years old; born in July, so I’m a Cancer. I’m a senior at Two Rivers High School (Class of 1013!); I got kicked out of Clearfield High in 2011 and came to Two Rivers the next school year.
I was born in Kearns, Utah, and have lived in Utah most of my life—a little bit of Montana for a year or so when I was younger. But Utah’s my home, and I love it; the beautiful mountains and canyons in the summertime and the snow fall in the wintertime; I’m definitely not one of those people who hate their home-state.
My hobbies are super eclectic; I take yoga classes twice a week. I’ve been belly dancing off and on for about four years now, and the last three months I’ve been doing it very frequently; I love having an excuse to shake it. (:, I also do charcoal portrait sketches, write, love to read, and have been “reading” tarot cards since I was about nine (another thing I share with my Gran). When I’m not doing one of those things, I’m working (Taco Bell in Roy.), going to school, or spending time with people I care about.
All in all I’m very laid back. My main goal in life is to meet people, love people, and experience life and people for all that they are.
I’m 16 years old and a junior this year.
I’ve lived in the same house in Roy my whole life with my parents and three older brothers. All of my brothers have moved out, but two of them live next door in my grandma’s old house.
I’ve been in concert band for five years, marching band for four years, drumline for three years, and jazz band for one year. I can play piano, violin, trumpet, trombone, baritone, mallets, and (drumline) drums. My favorite instrument is the marimba (in the picture).
I have two Russell Terriers and a cat. The cat is my favorite because she belongs to me, and I’ve had her since I was five.
I went to Roy High for a year, and near the end of the year, I got pregnant. The father and I are not talking anymore. I was going to go to Two Rivers High School anyway because I was planning on keeping the baby, but I’ve recently decided on adoption. So, now I’m just going here at Two Rivers so I can make up some credits.
Tana Marie Cherry
I’m 17 years old and was born and raised in Utah. I started going to school in the Davis School District until I was in 6th grade; I went to Wahlquist Jr. High and then attended Fremont High School for my sophomore year. I then transferred to Two Rivers High School.
I’m on the crew for a monster truck. I work for my dad at his offroad shop (I get to work on trucks all day.). I enjoy going out to truck pulls. I ride dirt bikes and snowmobiles. I also hunt and fish.
I have three tattoos and more to come. All of them mean something to me. I’m not the one to go out and get something done just for fun. My favorite one is the one across my foot. It’s my grandpa’s signature. I have a half sleeve on my right arm of a cross and roses. It has my ex-boyfriend’s name and my friend’s name in it. They both were shot and killed this year.
I am 17 years old. I will be 18 in November. I live in the Washington Terrace with my Aunt Angi and Uncle Willie. My dad and Willie both work in Afghanistan as contractors. My dad has been there for a year and nine months now. My uncle has been there for a year and five months. My dad and uncle get to come home every three months, but sometimes taxes don’t allow them to come to the U.S. so they have to take a vacation. Their R&R is only two weeks long. So only eight weeks out of the year they are outside of Afghanistan.
I really enjoy music, comics and Xbox. I listen to pop, punk, and I am a DCU fan. I own over 150 comics, most of them are DC. My favorite bands are Real Friends, A Loss for Words, Major League and Veara. I have two dogs; their names are Milo. He’s a Boston terrier, and Harley, and he is a Shar-Pei. In school I seem like a really quiet kid, and I try to mind my own business, but when I’m with my friends, I never stop talking. I like going to see a movie when they are in theaters. I also hate it when people make comments about my voice.
I also stream to Twitch.tv. This is a place to go to watch gamers play or let people watch your gameplay. You can use it to get noticed or notice gamers that are under the radar. Most of my free time is spent streaming or watching streams.
I used to own a ‘94 BMW until I totaled it messing with the radio. This was one of my big topics of my summer. I wasn’t scared or worried that I wrecked it; the scary part was talking to my dad about it. All he wanted to know was if I was okay. I now own a ’04 Hyundai Tiburon. I’ve had to drive my brother’s car for a month and a half because the insurance took forever.
My name is Katelyn Parkinson.
I’m a senior at Two Rivers High School.

Hopefully, by the time I’m 22, I will be a cop and become a sheriff.
I am Ashlee McCain.
I live in Taylor, Utah. I have lived with my mom most of my life, and I have lived in Utah my whole life. I have been to 12 schools, and I have lived in five different houses.
I have a step-sister named Ashlie, a step-brother named Brayden, a half-brother named Garrett and my only biological brother is named Daxton! As you can tell, we are a pretty big, blended family. Zack McCain, aka dad, lives in Syracuse.
Music is my life! I think music has helped me so much with being able to handle all these family issues and changes. I am a singer. I think of my singing as a super power. It’s something I’m really good at, but I hide it from the world so people will think I’m normal.
One of my goals in life is to become a well-known singer!
My favorite color: Orange
My favorite food: Anything with noodles!
My favorite TV show: Army wives
